A lovely, remote and quiet location. Just a few minutes away from the Eden Project; you'll like the proximity if you're planning to visit there. A group of friendly locals gathers here and you'll feel just like one of the gang. Excellent grounds for camping caravans. Pool tables, dart boards and trampoline on-site. Reasonably priced.
This is a very much no frills situation. Spacious and well-equipped with televisions, fluffy towels, and plenty of tea making provisions. Best sources suggest a room facing the backyard.
Sad, intermittent connections have occurred in the past and lack of phone signal as well. This is a very remote area, so don't count on your devices connecting easily (or at all.)
Some establishments stick strictly to posted times of service, and others are more flexible and laid back...by several hours. Don't count on the times for anything being even remotely accurate. If the bar is supposed to open at 5:00 but doesn't open until 5:30, consider yourself lucky they were close.
Dated decor and smells a little off. Perfect for outdoor types, campers and such. Could use a refurb and some modernising of amenities. Lights may not work and temperature control is inefficient so you may want to bring some sweaters or a fan.
