Some guests comment that staying at the Indigo Santa Barbara is like "sleeping in an art museum", as the hotel is home to an Art Library and rotating MCASB Satellite exhibitions. The guest rooms also feature modern art and very colorful, eclectic decor. An older, restored Spanish style building, the hotel offers a mix of room types and sizes, the majority of which seem to be small by contemporary standards.
