In particular, the bathrooms are described as very small and proved to be a major disappointment for some guests due to the difficulty in using the facilities. The hotel management points out that this is an historic establishment and as such some rooms may be smaller than others.
It seems that the elevators at this hotel are slow at times which can result in a wait of minutes on occasion. This problem was compounded by the closure of one of the elevators for renovation - the hotel management said that this closure was necessary to replace a cable. It is hoped that elevator will be quicker once the new cable is installed.
