Business guests, especially, will welcome the ability to work out in the fully equipped gym, as well as make use of the business centre. A more relaxing experience can be had at the rooftop swimming terrace, which has all the usual sun beds and other amenities. There are several dining options, from the elegant Mauve, serving gourmet Indian cuisine, to the casual and uber-trendy Rooftop Bar, where guests can dine and drink while taking in the views. Phetchaburi Metro station, from where much of Bangkok is accessible, is just 0.7 miles from In Residence.
Again and gain guests mentioned that they thought their room was especially spacious. It didn't seem to matter whether they were in a studio suite, or a one bedroom, because either way they said the room was well over the standard size for its class.
While the metro station isn't all that far away, it can still be a grind to walk there in the heat of the day. Guests were happy to report that the hotel laid on a free tuk-tuk to take them to the metro stations and a few other places very nearby. They found it a very thoughtful and welcome service.
While guests said it wasn't exactly as if the hotel was in the middle of the countryside, its position on a small side street meant that it was substantially quieter at night than hotels closer to Sukhumvit Road itself.
As is sometimes the case with very modern designs, it seems that the rooms are not ageing well. Quite a few guests said that the hard edges were chipped, the fabrics a bit worn, and the room, in general, seemed like it had seen better days, despite being relatively recently redone.
