Hotel Ilissos (Athens, Greece)

The staff members were thought to be friendly and attentive individuals for many guests who stayed here. The staff helped many with directions and arranged various logistics matters for them as well.

There were many returnees for the hotel, of guests who came back because they enjoyed their stay in the hotel. The staff was found to be friendly and the location ideal. The rooms were clean and comfortable as well.

The location is found to be a good one given it is a close distance from many of Athens tourist spots and historical monuments. There are also various tram stops near the hotel and various restaurants and shops. Guests were able to explore the city with ease.

Some guests found the rooms to be either too hot or cold for them. They found that the air-conditioning or heater was not controlled by them or did not work which made it difficult to ignore the temperature.

The carpet in the rooms was said to be in need of a good steam cleaning as it was too dirty and stained for guests to not notice it. The carpet could have been cleaner and these guests thought it needed a replacement.

Some guests found the amenities in the rooms were lacking and too basic or not working. There were no kettles, TV was not working well, the air-conditioning was not working and the décor was lacking.
