Hotel Hyatt Place New York/Midtown-South (New York, USA)

The hotel is located in close proximity to a large number of New York attractions such as the Empire State Building, the Rockefeller Center and Central Park, to name but a few, as well as being situated near a wide range of bars and restaurants. Guests can easily walk to Fifth Avenue or Broadway to explore the vast number of shops, or get a train from one of the subway stations that are a couple of blocks from the hotel.

The staff at this Hyatt location are extremely friendly and accommodating, ensuring that guests feel welcome upon arrival; they are happy to help with any requests or queries guests may have as well as provide information about the area surrounding the hotel.

The rooms are fairly large and comfortable and are fitted with many amenities that will ensure guests have most of the comforts of home at their disposal. Some guests found that their rooms provided spectacular views of the city and considered this to be a positive aspect of staying at this hotel.

Several guests complained of the elevators being somewhat slow and found this to be an annoyance.

While most of the guests found the staff to be perfectly pleasant, others had a different experience and found their interactions with the front desk staff to be a long process in which the staff were indifferent.

Some guests felt that the breakfast service end-time was too early for the breakfast to end. They also found that when they arrived at the tail end of the breakfast hours, most of the food had gone and had not been replenished. However, a large number of guests found the breakfast to be delicious despite the hours it was served.
