When it came to getting around the area, the location of the hotel typically met the needs of past guests. As well as being relatively close to downtown Valdosta, the property was also deemed convenient for visiting nearby points of interest such as the Wild Adventures Theme Park and Freedom Park.

Most former visitors had a positive experience when it came to interacting with the staff members of the accommodation. In general, the service offered has been described as courteous and helpful.

For those that experienced it, the outdoor swimming pool was well-received overall by previous guests of the hotel. As well as apparently being an enjoyable area to unwind, the pool was considered well-maintained for the most part.

Despite being a typically standard feature of this hotel chain, the accommodation does not currently serve any form of breakfast. Understandably, and although various dining choices are in close proximity, the omission of breakfast was lambasted by former visitors.

With reportedly dated amenities and décor, the general standard of the rooms was criticised by a notable amount of past guests that stayed at the hotel. Furthermore, the lack of a microwave or refrigerator in most rooms was also seen in a negative light on occasion.

In terms of hygiene, the accommodation has received a mixed reception from previous visitors. Although fine in the majority of cases, a sizeable number of complaints about cleanliness - from sightings of bugs to pungent odours - have been reported.
