Low-ceilinged rooms characterize the old building, and Hovborg Kro has gained a reputation for good Danish regional specialities, carefully prepared like ind the good old days with butter and cream at hand. A walk in the woods around Hovborg or down the footpath on the banks of the Holme Å is quite an experience. One can walk for hours without meeting other people, just enjoying nature. There are good fishing possibilities ind Holme Å, a small steam which flows right through the inns garden. With the greatest respect for the original building style of the over 200 year-old inn the old stable and barn have been rebuilt into modern and untraditional meeting rooms.
