The hostel is just a couple of minutes from the train station and several minutes from the beach. It's located in the heart of Fuengirola and a short walking distance to lots of shopping, a church, coffee and sweet shops, bars, two supermarkets, and numerous mini-markets.
Staff at the facility couldn't be more friendly. They are helpful and attentive including the downstairs 24-hr reception. The personnel are easy going and don't mind doing extras like delivering items to your room. The breakfast is decent with plenty of choices like bacon, eggs, scrambled and boiled eggs, ham and cheese, beans, cornflakes, and plenty more!
The bathroom is a perfect size. You have fresh towels, it's clean, and it's modern too. Impressive for such a budget styled accommodation.
Don't be surprised by traffic noise, or noise from other visitors going and coming from the facility.
Parking is underground and around the corner; however, the spaces are tight and the lighting is terrible. It's tricky getting in and out or unloading items from your vehicle.
Hot water for the shower is extremely slow. You have to wait quite a while, which means more than a half-hour! It seems like such a waste of water. There are no English channels either. It would be nice if facilities for travellers would have at least one English channel as the language is so common amongst travellers as a communication language. The beds need better coverings as well. You may find only sheets on the bed for a cover. The hallways are too dark and needs additional lighting. Light switches are not right outside the door either.
