If you are traveling with your family, Homewood Suites by Hilton Ocala at Heath Brook is a good choice. With spacious rooms that can accommodate your entire brood, a full kitchen, complimentary breakfast and evening social included, it's easy to stretch your travel budget just a little farther. Plus, there's an outdoor pool on property, Market Square Shopping District, where you'll find lots of restaurants, is next door and there are lots of kid-friendly attractions nearby.

A warm, helpful, multilingual staff welcomes you at check-in and is there for the duration of your stay. They are happy to accommodate most any request and they can point you in the direction of places to eat and the most popular local attractions.

This property is well-maintained and quiet, and the housekeeping staff keeps things in ship shape from the public spaces to the guest rooms. It's great to be able to stretch out and relax knowing everything is clean and in good working order.

There are smoking rooms here
Homewood Suites by Hilton Ocala at Heath Brook offers both non-smoking and smoking rooms which is quite evident, because when you step over the threshold of a room that has housed smokers in the past, the acrid, stale smell of second-hand smoke is hard to miss. If this is a problem for you, be sure to state your preference for a non-smoking room upon booking, and then again at check-in.

The WiFi is spotty
The WiFi here is spotty and a bit slow in the guest rooms which could be problematic if you are traveling on business, have kids who want to use their devices or simply want to get an email out in a hurry. But if needs be, you can use your devices in the public spaces where the WiFi is spot-on or upgrade for faster service.

Other than service animals, this hotel does not allow pets which is unfortunate, especially for those who love to travel with their favorite four-legged friends.
