Hotel HomeGate Studios & Suites San Antonio Fiesta Park (San Antonio, USA)

The hotel is conveniently located within close proximity to a number of San Antonio's attractions, such as the Six Flags Fiesta Park location that gives the hotel its namesake as well as the San Antonio Medical Center. There are several restaurants nearby as well and guests can drive the thirteen-mile distance to downtown San Antonio and The Alamo with relative ease.

The staff are extremely pleasant and friendly, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that guests feel welcome upon arrival. All staff members, from those working on the front desk to the housekeeping staff are warm and welcoming. They will gladly respond to any requests or queries guests may have and will happily supply information about the area.

The suites are fairly spacious, providing plenty of room for guest either travelling alone or in groups. The bathrooms and the kitchenettes are also well-sized and the beds are fairly spacious as well.

Many guests felt that the rooms were very dirty with some guest even finding roaches in their bathtub. The bed linens appeared stained and the bathtubs looked as if they had not been cleaned in a significant amount of time. While many guest found the rooms to be very dirty and unhygienic, a small number of guests felt that they were adequately clean.

The hotel appears very run-down in both its exterior and interior. Many guests felt that the furniture was tired and dated and that the majority of the furnishings and décor should be replaced.

While the hotel offers non-smoking rooms, a large number of guests found that their rooms smelled like stale cigarettes despite requesting non-smoking accommodation. Other guests found that a stale, mildew-type smell clung to the rooms and the hotel's shared/public areas.
