The Holiday Inn Fort Myers Downtown Historic is found to be ideal by guests for any trip, be it business or pleasure. The historic downtown is only a mile away. Guests love that a Dunkin Donuts is in the same plaza and the beach is about 30 minutes away. Guests said that they found plenty to do and enjoyed the night life of the place too while they were there. Many guests appreciated the food at Firestone restaurant which is close by to the hotel. Guests appreciated the free 24- hour shuttle to downtown provided by the hotel as they did not have to walk at all.

Guests appreciated the ample parking space and the lovely dining room and bar. Pool and the lounge area were also welcoming and many guests spent their time in the pool. They spoke highly about the staff who they found amazing, friendly and helpful.

Guests say that the rooms are well maintained and clean. They also like the roominess and comfort of the beds. They find the rooms quiet and pleasant and well appointed with amenities like microwave, fridge, iron and board and hair dryer. There was plenty of storage space as well.

Guests found the fitness room very small. The options of equipments were limited and one out of three machines was also not in working condition.

The air conditioning units, closet doors, refrigerators and drains in most rooms were not working. Guests said that they found the hotel pretty run down.

Guests did not like that breakfast at the hotel is not complimentary. Also they found that the restaurant and bar of the hotel are severely understaffed.
