The hotel is popular with business travellers and conventioneers, as it is in the heart of the business district and literally within the CNIT Convention Center. However, guests note that the La Defense metro station is right below the hotel and those who don't mind a 10-20 commute into the city centre find the hotel is a great base for sightseeing, too. There are two large shopping malls and many fast food options within walking distance.
Guests often comment that the rooms are big "for Paris" or "by European standards", with tasteful, comfortable furnishings and a high level of housekeeping.
Guests often describe the staff as very friendly and welcoming, pleased to provide maps, directions, and sightseeing suggestions. International travellers are relieved to find that many of the personnel are equally fluent in English, and compliments also go to the chef on the extensive breakfast buffet.
Many guests are dismayed to find wi-fi in-room is chargeable, though it is free in public areas. Some are further irritated to find the service a bit spotty and slow as well.
The car park is located in a separate building, and guests arriving by car generally note it is difficult to find without detailed directions. Some guests, even taxi drivers, have difficulty locating the hotel itself as it is within the CNIT and obscured by shopping malls.
