While it is only a 10-minute walk to the nearest station the hotel also puts on a shuttle bus that will take guests there. Many appreciated this gesture, especially when affected by the heat.

There weren't really any complaints about room size. To the contrary, many guests went out of their way to say that they were very pleased with the large room they were allocated.

Remarkably, despite being well reviewed there were very few complaints about the level of cleanliness. Many guests go out of their way to comment that their rooms started out clean and remained so for the duration of their stay.

While it is described as a “jet-pool” on the hotel's marketing materials, most guests who comment say that it is too small to really be described as a pool at all. To them it is a large Jacuzzi with an unusual rectangular shape. In any event, they didn't believe it was functional as a pool, and was essentially a decorative feature.

Although reviews are mixed, many guests comment that their rooms looked a little worn and threadbare. Things like dings on furniture, worn upholstery and so on. They felt the rooms were either not maintained properly, or were long past their due date for a revamp.

While not at all atypical for hotel Wi-Fi, guests confirm that the Hi Residence joins the long list of hotels that offer poor Wi-Fi. Access was not often mentioned as a problem, but speeds were said to be much too slow to be useful.
