About Hestheimar

Hestheimar is a family run business in Hella operating since 2000. We love to have guests and want them to feel relaxed and like at home, while staying in our guesthouse. We offer double rooms with a private or shared bathroom and cozy wooden cottages (with bathroom and kitchenette). Both owners and the Hestheimar´s Team members are eager to help guests in any way possible, such as by assisting with planning their trip, doing their laundry (extra charge), and so on. Guests are also offered hot coffee and tea when they check in. WIFI – available in all buildings. Free parking place. Hot tub in the main building, available to use all year. Complimentary coffee and tea in all buildings. In main building there is a dining room witha a stunning view over countryside, horse ranch and 2 famous volcanos: Helka and Eyjafjallajökull. Hestheimar is also the perfect place to see northern lights (especially in wintertime). They usually do not appear before 10.00pm so make sure not to go to sleep too early, if the northern lights forecast is positive.
