Herberg de Vliegende Vos (The Flying Fox Inn) is the birthplace of the famous Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer. When he was born in 1632 his parents ran de Flying Fox Inn. The Inn has been fully rebuild this year. The Flying Fox Inn is situated in de middle of the historic city at one of the most beuatiful canals with all museums, historic sites and points of interest within walking distance.A wide variaty of bars and restaurants with terrasses are in the vicinity. Our very exclusive rooms are on the top floor underneath the 16th century beam roof and provide private bathroom with shower, separate toilet, fan. coffe, tea and waterare included. Wine and beer is sold seperately. As of september 1st we will have a 4-5 person family suite available.
