The hotel offers amazing views, which are great to wake up to. You'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to walks too. Many of them are on the doorstep. After a long hike through the countryside, it's a lovely, luxurious place to return to for some relaxa
Hazel Bank Country House might be a wonderful place, but this is reflected in the price. It doesn't come cheap.
You might have a few small niggles with the showers. Some of the shower heads seem to have a mind of their own and can leak water on the floor.
Rosthwaite is hardly a metropolis, so you might find a lack of amenities in the area. This obviously isn't the hotel's fault but worth considering when packing for your stay. Bring everything you think you might need.
