positive:

Great location near the causeway

Ballymoney is very close to the coastline which is a great location for families and also couple wanting to explore. Those staying at the hotel as a short stop off have been impressed with how easy it is to access the surrounding areas and sights however have said you need a car.

Negative Reviews

negative:

Family rooms have beds upstairs

The family rooms have a staircase in them which you have to climb to get up to other beds. Older parties have been very disappointed with this as have parents with children as it causes an issue through the night. This is not mentioned on their website when booking.

negative:

Rooms are tired

The rooms are still in keeping with the history of the building and the owners prefer it this way. Some reviews have described how dated and tired the rooms look whereas others have been impressed. It really does depend of personal preference.

negative:

Wi-Fi not reliable

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi service is not great within the hotel, most guests have been disappointed with the unreliability and have been unable to work due to the issue.
