Hotel Happy Holiday Motel (Myrtle Beach, USA)

Happy Holiday Motel is directly across the street from the beach, which is very convenient. It is also an easy walk to Broadway and to most of the main attractions in the area. There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby.

The staff here are really friendly and pleasant. They will do their best to deal with any problems that you have while staying there. They can also give you some useful tips on the best places to visit and to eat in the vicinity.

The beds are comfortable enough and rooms come with a refrigerator, microwave, TV and a small dresser.

Guests have complained that they have seen bugs, flies and roaches in their rooms and in public areas of the property.

Happy Holiday Motel is really old and rundown. Everywhere feels very tired and the level of cleanliness often leaves a lot to be desired. There is a smoky smell about the place as well and patches of mold and rust here and there. Some of the microwaves, wall sockets and fridges no longer work and a few of the TVs are old and small. Several of the comforters are past their best.

The walls were very thin, so you'll hear what is going on in your neighbors' rooms. Also, the noise from outside is very clear. There are often people hanging in the area drinking and smoking. Don't expect an early night or a particularly good sleep.
