Hotel Hampton Inn & Suites Salt Lake City-University/Foothill Drive (Salt Lake City, USA)

A number of previous guests specifically mentioned that the thought the hotel was great value for money given its location close to Salt Lake City, when compared to similar hotels in comparable price points in the area.

The hotel is very convenient to downtown Salt Lake city but also provides really good access to the University of Utah and further afield Park City. It was this proximity to local attractions which featured consistently across a number of reviews, as one of the best aspects of staying at the hotel.

Staff at the hotel were singled out for being very polite and kind during their interactions with guests who commented that they were very friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble to accommodate, which guests stay was the highlight of their stay.

Some guests were disturbed during their stay by noisy air conditioning units whilst others found that they did not cool the room sufficiently leaving them feeling a little hot and bothered. Needless to say these guests did not leave positive reviews about their experience at this hotel.

'Get in quick for breakfast', was a hot tip from a number of guests who were disappointed at the food that was left over later in the morning.  For these guests it was obvious that the hotel was not going to replenish premium items leaving these guests to a boring breakfast with a limited selection of food, compared perhaps to the early birds.

One complaint a number of people repeated was that the linen at the hotel such as the towels and the bedding, were showing very obvious signs of age with some loosing that clean and crisp feeling. Some guests suggested that towels in particular needed to be replaced.
