All the staff working here do a fantastic job of running the place, from getting you checked in quickly to taking care of any requests you have. They are also very chatty and have a wealth of knowledge on things to do in the local area.

You’ll find it very hard to notice any problems with the standard of cleanliness in this hotel, the housekeeping staff work hard to keep everything looking spotless. Even all the communal areas of the hotel are kept neat and tidy.

One area where this hotel lets itself down is the free Wi-Fi it provides. The speed is pretty dismal so doing any serious work is near impossible. If you need to stay connected for business make sure you arrange an alternative.

The breakfast buffet lacks a large and varied selection of food, especially when it comes to fresh fruit. The coffee served is not exactly gourmet either, so be prepared for a pretty average morning meal.

Everyone has different preferences when it comes to beds, but the quality of the mattresses at Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham could be much better. You might find that getting a good night’s sleep on one of the beds here is difficult.
