Hotel Hampton Inn Lawrence (Lawrence, USA)

A highlight for guests staying at this Hampton was the warm delicious cookies that they received on arrival. It seems the cookies are so tasty that it left them wanting more!

Staff at the hotel rated very highly across a number of reviews. Previous guests commented that they were very freidnly, well trained and competent and happy to attend to any request that guests had.  Some guests also singled out the reception staff as being particualry helpful.

A number of guests were staying at the hotel as it was the destination for the function, event or conference that they were due attend. In particular, a number of family groups who stayed here commented that the hotel dealt with their big groups well and the event staff were fantastic.

Some guests had the unfortunate timing to stay at the hotel during a period of renovation and whilst many who commented felt that the upgrades were a long time coming they did not appreciate not being fore-warned about the works which they said if they had known in advance, they would not have stayed at the hotel.

The hotel is showing signs of wear and tear and some who left comments in their reviews have been vocal that hotel management needs to upgrade facilities and amenities to bring this Hampton hotel into line with other across the chain. Common complaints included stained carpets and years of build up of mold in bathrooms.

A common disappointment for people visiting the hotel was the sub-par standard of cleaning of the rooms. It seems a number of guests were not happy that they found evidence of previous guests in their bathrooms, or that they had to unclogg drains and wipe down their rooms to get the dust off surfaces.
