Guests love the hotel's location directly on the beach, noting there are chairs and umbrellas available for rent and a big box of beach toys for the little ones to borrow. Many note the beach towels are always available and are of unusually high quality. The sunny pool area is also host to a regular Saturday afternoon BBQ, with complimentary burgers and hot dogs for the hotel guests, a much appreciated treat.

The guest rooms are generally described as very clean and comfortable. The microwaves and mini fridges are well appreciated, and many travelers find the beds exceptionally cozy as well. However, the highlight for most is the view from their private balcony. Many rooms directly face the Atlantic Ocean, and the balconies offer a patio table and chairs.

The front desk team, breakfast host, and housekeeping staff frequently receive rave reviews for their friendly, attentive customer service and welcoming manner.

Guests generally agree that the pool is showing some wear, and is ready for an update. Some guests, particularly parents of little ones, were also unpleasantly surprised to find smoking is allowed in the pool area.

Many guests find the recently renovated lobby and breakfast area very pretty and modern, but note the guest rooms have yet to receive the same treatment. The decor and furnishings are a bit dated and worn in places, and the carpets seem to have passed their 'best before' date as well.

The parking is free and the hotel offers a small lot beside the building, with an overflow lot across the street. However, more than a few guests have had difficulty getting a space.
