Location is this hotel's big draw. Situated just off of I-95, it made an ideal stopover for those on long-haul journeys. Likewise, whether they were in the region for business or pleasure, this hotel was also lauded for its great connection to the local area. Whether you're after the beach, the golf course or downtown Daytona, this Hampton Inn location is worth considering.

Staff at this hotel appear to be consistently efficient and helpful. Whether it's booking a golfing trip or providing some impromptu entertainment for younger visitors, guests report staff here go out of their way to offer assistance.

Staff at this hotel know that it's the little things that make a big impression with guests. All visitors are offered freshly baked cookies upon arrival and for many, this was a very nice touch. But if the cookies were good, the standards of cleanliness and soothing atmosphere only helped add to guests' overall positive impression of this property.

For many, their time at this hotel passed without incident. However, most of the issues with this property are related to the in-room facilities. First and foremost, a number of guests noted strange smells coming from individual air conditioning units along with musty odors in rooms. Additionally, many also found their air conditioning units to be rather noisy.

While the rooms themselves were comfortable, many felt that they were rather tight, with the bathrooms being especially bijoux. Finally, a number felt that, in terms of look and feel, these units really could be brought up to a more modern standard.

While not included in the in-room amenities, some commented that rooms could have benefited from the presence of a fridge and microwave.
