As always, staff form that crucial first impression + here, they couldn’t be more friendly or helpful.

This is cheap accommodation but it puts some higher priced alternatives to shame. No, it’s not the Ritz, but most people don’t want that anyway. It’s clean, friendly and with some useful mod cons to make your stay enjoyable.

There’s a great deal that includes dinner buffet in the restaurant. So many dishes, you lose count; the quality is excellent and the price is a steal. It's a great B+B solution for parties out to celebrate.

It's really bad. With so many comings and goings, the noise makes for sleepless nights and a vow to make this your last tango in Halifax.

Now it’s due for another! It’s all a bit sub-standard: unclean with broken beds, fittings hanging off the walls etc. Put these things right + this place has got lots going for it.

Dodgy heating means unhappy and cold guests.
