Hotel Normandy is in walking distance of all the city’s most popular tourist attractions. You are just next to the regal Palais-Royal, Louvre Museum, Comedy de France, Rivoli street and the famous Jardin de Tuileries. Previous guests reported that there are some amazing French restaurants, Brasseries and gift shops surrounding the hotel. The city-centre location is truly unbeatable. The hotel is closed to the metro, but ideal for those who want to stroll the streets of Paris on foot.

Travel through history with classic vintage interior hotel decor. It is styled as a traditional “Grand Paris” design, offering guests an authentic late 19th century Parisian experience. The on-site restaurant features the same lavish furnishings boasting elegant decorations and attentive service throughout your meal. Guests have described the hotel as a “rustic old charm”

Previous guests were pleased with the price of the accommodations, considering the hotel’s grand decor and tourist central location. Many felt the location, amenities and service was well worth the price of their visit.

Some rooms do not include an air-conditioning unit. Several guests reported broke, faulty and inefficient air-conditioning units throughout their stay. Many were inconvenienced by sweltering room temperatures, specifically during the warmer seasons. Rooms with working air-conditioning systems featured excessive noise, disrupting guest’s sleep patterns.

Several guests have agreed that the hotel’s vintage rooms are in need of some refurbishment. For example, some rooms include chipped paint, peeling wallpaper, marks and scratches on the walls.

Some of the previous guests felt the hotel reception staff was rude and unwelcoming. Other guests were not inconvenienced by this and truly enjoyed the staff's helpful presence.
