It’s wonderful that pets are allowed at Mercure Paris-La-Villeette, especially if you like to travel with your favourite canine companion. Your dog will love it too, because Paris is such a dog-friendly city and there are so many great walks to be had just outside your door.
When staying here, you should take advantage of the live entertainment that is featured at the Piano Bar seven nights a week. It’s the perfect way to spend the evening in, while still feeling like you’re out on the town.
Not all of the guest rooms at Mercure Paris-La-Villette are non-smoking and this could be problematic if you don’t imbibe and can’t abide the acrid, stale smell of second-hand smoke. If this is a problem for you, be sure to state your preference for a non-smoking room upon booking, and then again at check-in.
If you are looking for a quiet stay, be sure to book a room at the rear of the property as the front of the hotel is subject to noise from the road despite the residential feel of the neighbourhood. In addition, the walls here are thin, so if you have loud neighbors, you can hear them as clearly as if they were right there in your room.
The guest rooms here are a bit small and don’t get a lot of natural light. So if you are travelling with more than one person, have a lot of luggage in tow or need extra room to manoeuvre, you should be aware of this.
