In the 1930s, the Hôtel Le Robinet d'Or was a very productive tap factory, but it's now a comfortable three-star boutique hotel.
Each of the property's 21 rooms is stylishly decorated with antique furniture. They feature complimentary Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, L'Occitane toiletries, a shower and a hair dryer.
There is a copy and fax service available at the Hôtel Le Robinet d'Or, along with a luggage storage facility. The property also has an Internet corner equipped with an iMac.
In addition to getting breakfast from the hotel, guests can enjoy lunch and dinner and drinks at the restaurant.
Just over six kilometres from the Rodin Museum, the property is about 20 minutes from the Carrousel du Louvre, an underground shopping centre, by public transit.
Guests said that the extremely helpful attitude demonstrated by most of the staff members made their stays truly special. You'll find that the staff do whatever they can to answer questions or offer assistance, and always do so cheerfully as if whatever's being asked is no problem at all.
positive:
Rooms Are Stylish and Comfortable.
The accommodations here are very aesthetically pleasing and well equipped. That usually meant that guests had very comfortable experiences while staying here. They also loved how staff members tried hard to put them in particular rooms if special requests were raised.
positive:
It's Easy to Access Public Transit.
Although some guests commented that this hotel is located as such that it's too far to walk to some of the famous tourist attractions, they appreciated that the property is close to several metro stations, including Gare du Nord, which is reachable on foot.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No Lift in the Property.
This property doesn't have a lift, so it may not be a feasible choice if you have mobility challenges. There's also a spiral staircase, which guests said could be challenging with luggage. However, they were impressed that the staff members were very willing to help with bags, and didn't even expect a gratuity.
negative:
Minor Wi-Fi Frustrations.
Occasionally, guests said the Wi-Fi connection was slow and that it seemed to log off automatically too frequently. Also, only one guest per room can use the Wi-Fi at once, which could be annoying if you are travelling with others.
negative:
The Breakfast is Overpriced.
Some guests felt that for what's offered, the price of breakfast is too much. However, that was not a major issue for most of them, as the ones who were bothered just opted to eat elsewhere.
