The hotel is located in the centre of the Latin quarter and many sites and attractions are within walking distance. Notre Dame Cathedral is just a 5-minute walk away, and both the Luxembourg Gardens and the Louvre Museum can be reached within 20-minutes’ walk. The Saint-Michel metro station is just a 3-minute walk away which provides easy access to Paris’ other districts. Restaurants, cafes and bakeries are also just a few minutes’ walk away.
Despite the small size of the rooms, the rooms clean and tidy, beautifully furnished and the general atmosphere was found to be quiet and cosy. All the basics such as free Wi-Fi, bottled water, tea and coffee were provided and added to a comfortable stay.
The staff were found to be friendly and helpful in offering tourist assistance and recommendations for visiting sites in Paris.
Some guests felt that the hotel was too quite expensive for the standard of room offered. The size of the rooms are reportedly very small and you may have trouble fitting your open luggage cases on the floor.
Although the hotel advertises a lift service, be aware that you may still have to climb narrow and steep stair wells before you get to your room. At times the lift has been out of service and guests complained that they did not receive any assistance to carry their luggage to their room despite the difficulty of climbing the narrow stairs.
Some guests recommended you book a room with a courtyard view, as the street view rooms tend to be louder. There is a bar across the street which can be quite noisy.
