The 3-star Guesthouse Mirula is found in central Split, about five minutes’ walk from Diocletian’s Palace, the Split City Museum and the Cathedral of St Domnius. Guests will also find themselves less than ten minutes’ walk away from the Split bus station, train station and the ferry terminals going to Croatian islands like Vis, Korcula and Vela Luka. All rooms in this guest house come with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Guests have access to a fridge and kettle and dogs can stay on request. A wide range of cafes, bars and restaurants can be reached in a short walk. Guests said a stay at Guesthouse Mirula put them just a short walk away from the old town, the Palace of Diocletian and a green market; in a quiet but gorgeous neighbourhood filled with tiny old streets. On top of this, all of the main transport hubs, including the ferry terminal, can apparently be reached with a leisurely stroll to the waterfront.
Those who opted to stay here said they were happy with their decision, thanks to cosy and clean rooms with nice decor, air conditioning, and good, free Wi-Fi. Furthermore, they said they got all of this at a very reasonable price.
The hosts of this guesthouse are said to be very friendly and will go out of their way to help, with things like providing maps and detailed explanations of the city when you arrive, or storing luggage after departure. A few guests even said they were lucky enough to be there at the right time for fresh figs and wine.
The only issue mentioned by some of those who stayed at Guesthouse Mirula was that their toilets and bathrooms were relatively small. Having said this, most guests did not mention it at all, and those who did did not seem too put out by it.
