This well-situated inn is just steps from the shoreline promenade area at Hoylake, near to the beaches of Wirral and adjacent to Royal Liverpool G.C. Shops and restaurants are all nearby as well.

This popular pub has an outstanding menu which offers the 2-for-1 meal deal which guests say is an excellent value for the money. Good, quality food is served in a lovely atmosphere.

Spacious rooms are clean and well-kept with nice amenities including coffee and tea facilities and biscuits en suite. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large as well. Guests say this is a great value.

Many guests are disappointed that the coffee and tea at breakfast are not fresh brewed, but rather instant coffee or tea bags with a percolator of water, which some say is just lukewarm at that.

If you plan on doing any reading in your room, you may wish to bring your own reading light, as guests say the en suite light bulbs are a bit dim making the room feel too dark, especially the bedside area.

Some guests feel this hotel could use more staff at the breakfast service, as too much time is spent waiting for menu items to be refreshed.
