Situated in a great waterfront position near Cape Cod, Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging is a pet friendly hotel offering comfortable accommodation, excellent leisure amenities and direct access to the ocean inlet. The rooms face either the beach or the waterfront and pool. The have a light and airy feel and come with all the amenities you’ll need for a great vacation, including air conditioning and cable TV. Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging has two pools right on the water, the perfect place to catch some rays or perhaps go for a refreshing dip. There are no dining facilities in the hotel, but staff members will be only too happy to offer you great local restaurant recommendations if asked. The main attraction is the access to the water. Guests can use one of the hotel’s paddle boats to explore the inlet, or can even bring and launch their own boat. Both Boston and Providence are about an hours’ drive away.
A number of guests brought their dogs along on their vacation. They were unanimous in saying that both they and their pets were treated exceptionally well by the hotel and its staff. There were even doggie treats for their best friends on check in. They definitely felt that they were truly welcome, rather than merely tolerated as a matter of policy.
This was perhaps what most impressed guests about the hotel. They said that the outlook over the ocean inlet was not only very tranquil and beautiful, but much more importantly, offered amazing leisure options. Most guests traveling in the summer couldn’t spend enough time on the water, either in one of the hotel’ paddle boats or their own boat.
Going by guest reviews, it seems that this hotel is family run. Guests felt that the staff here were very engaged and always willing to go the extra miles for their guests. They attributed this to its small and cozy nature and it not being part of a large hotel chain.
There is no onsite dining at the hotel, and it was reported that there really weren’t any suitable restaurants within walking distance. Eating out would likely involve a trip to Falmouth.
