The rooms are quite compact which is unavoidable in a building such as this but the bathrooms are very tight, and you won’t feel like spending too much time in the shower. It’s a really tight squeeze, but it’s what you expect in a guest house like this on
The road out front is quite busy at all times of the day and night so expect to hear quite a lot of traffic noise throughout your stay. If you’re a light sleeper, then you might want to pack your earplugs.
The heating seems to run on a timer and goes on and off at unusual times such as the middle of the night. This makes for an uncomfortable night’s sleep if the night is chilly. Not ideal in the cold climate of Scotland.
