Hotel Grandstay Residential Suites Oxnard (Oxnard, USA)

The hotel is near the freeway, which is very convenient. You will also find various choices of food in the vicinity and there's even a hospital nearby. Ventura (and the Ventura Harbor) and Camarillo are not too far away.

The full-sized refrigerator is nice. You also have a dishwasher and plenty of cabinet space. It's much like a nicely furnished studio apartment.

The staff are extremely congenial, attentive, and accommodating. The lobby has an attractive ambiance and feels welcoming as well.

It would be nice to have more amenities in the kitchen like a coffee pot, pots and pans, kitchen towels, and it should be cleaner upon arrival. Though the kitchen has a nice touch and does have some things, it needs to be improved.

It looks more like a place where people go to have their last meal than a nice hotel. The décor is just not up-to-par. Perhaps this is the reason for the renovation. The mold needs to go and the bathroom needs to be more practically designed. For example, they should put towel racks near the sink. The workout room is nothing but a tacky treadmill, an elliptical machine, and exercise bike. No weights in sight.

Breakfast is an insult. Stale pastries and a waffle iron that you can't even use unless you want to wait for ours.
