Hotel Grand International (Panama City, Panama)

Grand International is ideally situated in a great area of Panama City. With an address on Via Argentina, the hotel boasts a lovely location on a tree-lined street with many restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The hotel is convenient to the metro and public transportation, and there are always plenty of taxis on standby in the area as well.

Overall, guests were quite pleased with the accommodations provided at Grand International. Guests say the rooms are large and feature comfortable beds. There is plenty of parking onsite, and it is complimentary. Guests also found it convenient that some rooms have refrigerators.

The onsite restaurants are worth a visit or two. Guests said they really enjoyed their dining experience and said that the food was fantastic. In addition, guests also loved the outdoor pool area and the poolside bar service.

Several guests complained about poor soundproofing at the hotel. Street noise, especially from local bars and nightlife seems to be a common reason for keeping guests up, but the lobby also tends to be quite loud, from the background music playing alone. A few guests also said the A/C was quite noisy when running. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs with you.

Though most guests had no problems at all, a few reported amenities in their room being out of order, mainly the air conditioning, which repeatedly did not do much to cool the room. Guests also reported their TV, or Wi-Fi not being operational.

Some guests thought that housekeeping could do a better job because the rooms did not appear clean upon check-in.
