As with many resorts in Los Cabos, the ocean isn't the best for swimming. While lovely to walk along, powerful waves and a strong undertow are characteristic of the Sea of Cortez waters in this area. Guests did take pleasure in watching the waves crash against the rocks, and going snorkeling closer to shore when the waters were a bit calmer. Plenty of sea life was also witnessed by many beach goers.
If you need to keep in touch or get some work done, be prepared to get frustrated by the weak Wi-Fi signal. Guests unhappy with the lack of English television and sports channels at the hotel, attempted to stream movies as a form of entertainment, and were equally disappointed.
