Hotel Golden Taurus Aquapark Resort (Pineda de Mar, Spain)

This was perhaps the most often mentioned positive feature of the hotel. Guests had, after all, largely booked their holiday in order to be able to get in a bit of beach time. They were very happy that the object of their travels was simply a quick walk across the road. It enabled them to nip down there whenever the mood struck.

On the whole, guests were very impressed with the amenities and entertainment offered. Parents with younger children were especially happy with the playgrounds and children's entertainment program, but many mentioned adults were also very well catered for.

With only vary rare exceptions, guests tended to think very highly of the staff. They were said to be welcoming and friendly, but even more important, seemed to have the sort of enthusiasm and cheerfulness that was just what guests were looking for when on their summer holiday.

Several guests reported that the buffet restaurant would get uncomfortably crowded, especially at lunch time. It was speculated that the resort does not allow a long enough time window for meals, so causing overcrowding.

Techies, and others, were disappointed to discover that Wi-Fi was only accessible around the reception area, meaning they had to venture forth into public when connecting with the world beyond.

It was mentioned that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Guests found this inexplicable, considering the number of British visitors and their well-known desire to be able to make a quick cuppa with a minimum of fuss.
