The location is lovely and sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood. If you are looking to chat and interact with other people, this hostel may not suit you. However, if you are looking for a quiet place to lay your head, this hostel will fit the bill.
The hostel premises are well taken care of and you certainly won't mind spending your money for the accommodations. The lounge and TV room are nice and spacious and you may get lucky with a room overlooking the city.
The kitchen and dining room area is so far away, they should have public transportation along the corridors! There are a number of corridors you have to walk through in order to reach the much prized eating area, where you will find the only place to drink water on the premises. In fact, there are warning signs against drinking the tap water in the building except the water in the kitchen, which seems to take forever to get to. Just bring your own bottle!
The staff are very stiff, almost unfriendly. And if you are looking for other friendly travellers to mingle and chat with, it's out of the question. Maybe it depends on the time of year you stay at the facility or perhaps there's something in the water!
Though the area of the hostel is nice, peaceful, and residential, there have been a couple of instances of people being mocked and a couple of dodgy people causing harassment. However, this is rare and will be something you will more than likely not encounter.
