The fun starts with the donkey as bellhop, but once at the complex you’ll find a lovely pool area with sun beds, and a rooftop terrace with the same. The hosts will be happy to recommend good local restaurants if asked. The town of Oia is just 1.5 miles away, along a very beautiful costal road, while the Santorini Airport is less than 10 miles.
Since the little community where the apartments are situated is traffic free, and contains narrow and sometime steep cobbled streets, the owners use a donkey to carry guests' bags the last short distance. Many guests are just tickled pink by this, and it instantly put them in a good mood.
Guests can't say enough good things about the hosts, Georgis and Tanya. They are described as going far beyond the call of duty to make sure hat their guests are well taken care of. They perform all the transfers and other tasks themselves, and are very much hands on.

This apartment complex is definitely not the place for anyone with mobility issues. Several guests mention how steep the little alleys are in the area, and that you need to negotiate these before you can reach the parking area. Of course some also regard this as charming, and it does mean that the area attracts fewer people than nearby Oia.
Though most guests book realising that the location is somewhat out of the way, others are led to believe that it is either in Oia, or very near to it. They are a bit disappointed when they realise it is quite a trek.
