The apartments are clean, well appointed and well looked after with daily or three times a week maid service. The staff and the service also receive very positive comments.
The resort has only lodging, half board or all inclusive deals available. Guests have recommended the all inclusive deal as being particularly good value for money. The glass of cava on arrival was a pleasant touch felt guests.
There are two pools, sun deck with loungers, several sporting activities, a garden and entertainment options laid on. The beach is just a short walk away so there is plenty here for everyone to do. The resort is also close to other eating out options, trinket shops and so on.
The Gavimar La Mirada Club & Resort can get crowded in the peak season. The pools are also a little small to be able to accommodate everyone at such times. The area around the pool is small and cramped.
Some guests were less than pleased with the sort of entertainment provided. They felt it was both below par and repetitive. The food was also similarly repetitive after some days felt guests.
