The hotel is very reasonably priced and is excellent value for money. This also includes drinks prices in the bar.

For those with access issues there is a lift available in the hotel which makes it much easier to get around.

There have been lots of compliments from previous guests regarding the room sizes and they loved the overall ambience in this historic accommodation.

Strict dining times.

It has been reported that breakfast and dinner is only available for limited times and that guests are unable to enter the breakfast room before a certain time which causes a queue to get in.

The hotel is looking tired and dated in some places and it looks in need of a refurbishment. Guests have mentioned that it could do with some modern touches such as better Wi-Fi as the signal is quite intermittent and there is also a lack of plug sockets.
