Attractive location.

The aparthotel is directly across a quiet road from the beach. Pollenca itself is 2km away but easily walkable, particularly in cooler weather.

Not overcrowded, it’s easy for instance to keep a safety eye on the kids as they go about their play.

There’s a good signal and the TV reception and channel choices are OK.

Declining restaurant standards.

More noticeable to the regular visitor; this once very special restaurant has lost some of its glow over recent months and years. OKish, but not as good as it used to be.

No, not the Wi-Fi or TV; the reception staff! Not their fault that their English is limited to say the least but the fact that their hours of operation are a bit hit and miss, can be frustrating.

Maintaining the view.

Maintenance issues become increasingly apparent during the course of your stay and whilst balconies are spacious, they don’t all have the sea views as advertised in glossy publicity.
