The entire property has been recently renovated from top to bottom. The decor is modern in theme and the outside pool area is relaxing and peaceful. The staff is pleasant and it's obvious they have put a great deal of care and attention into customer service and a great night's stay.
The hotel is charming and quaint, without sacrificing convenience and comfort. There is a private courtyard for socialising and there are small, but friendly, touches, including free parking, free use of Wi-Fi, and free rental for beach equipment.
This hotel is located in prime real estate property in the north Fort Lauderdale area, close to the beach and dozens of restaurants. However, it's much cheaper in cost. For another hotel offering the same amenities and rooms, you could expect to pay two or three times what the rate is here.
There are a few things missing that would make this a perfect stay. There isn't a lift to the second floor and no ice or vending machines onsite. Not all rooms have microwaves and reception isn't available 24 hours.
The hotel is still undergoing some renovations so guests will have to put up with the inconveniences. It's also possible to hear that noise and noise from your neighbours in the rooms. Soundproofing isn't part of the renovations, unfortunately.
