The hotel is at the top of a hill and so the location offers fantastic views of the ocean and Chania town. The area is lovely and quiet and so you can relax without the sounds of motorcars and people going past. The hotel is centrally located between the centre of Chania and many local beaches.
The hotel swimming pool is of a good size and it offers a good time for adult and children alike. You can relax on the sun loungers around the pool comfortably and the staff are very attentive. The pool area offers fantastic views.
Some guests found that their private kitchenettes were not well-equipped. Some guests felt that the rooms should have had a kettle and toaster. Some of the cutlery was either missing, miss-matched or dirty.
Although the location of the hotel is very convenient, some guests found that the roads surrounding the Frida Apartments were dark and uneven, this gave the feeling of being a little unsafe to walk at night.
Some guests were not happy with the standard of the shower facilities at this hotel. The showers are small and they allow a lot of water to splash out into the rest of the bathroom. They also showed signs of mould and need to be cleaned better.
