While not described as in the very centre by guests, it is very close. Also, there are metro stops almost right outside the door and guests describe it as very easy to get around.

Even some guests who had issues with the hotel conceded that, considering the location and the room-rate they got, they received good value. In many guests mind they paid budget prices for basic central accommodation, and that is what they got.

Several guests pointed out that it is from nearby Marquês de Pombal Square that the busses to the airport depart, and also the main stop for the hop on/hop off busses. They found this convenient, especially if travelling on a budget and trying to avoid airport taxis.

Perhaps the most common complaint concerns the breakfast. It is universally described as meagre and unfulfilling. It is not usually included in the room rate, and most seem to suggest that it would be better to forego it in favour of breakfast at a nearby café.

Guests were not happy that they had to pay for Wi-Fi at all, and even less happy that they found the rates quite expensive. Most felt that connectivity is such a basic requirement nowadays that it really should be included in the room rate.

While not a universal complaint, there certainly were many guests who were unhappy with the size of their room. It does appear that rooms sold in the same class may be different sizes, so guests who like their space should make enquiries beforehand.
