The Hotel Flamingo Hotel is an environmentally conscious hotel offering chic accommodation just steps from the beach. Reception is open 24 hours, and can help with laundry, business and concierge services. There is a chic pool terrace with views out to sea, and also an additional indoor pool and sauna. The well-regarded Restaurant del Mar occupies pride of place at the hotel. The chefs start with the very best of traditional Catalonian cuisine and methods, but are not shy to use modern techniques when called for. In fine weather meals are served on the Hotel Flamingo Terrace. The beach is steps away, and the small craft harbour just 700 yards. The Ebro Delta Natural Park can be found about 13 miles away.

The hotel is right on the beachfront, and it seems to be the views from the restaurant, and some of the rooms, that most impresses guests. Though, ironically, those who were not allocated a sea view room were perhaps more disappointed than they would have been had there been none available.
Surprisingly, this was mentioned by quite a number of guests. Motorists liked that they could jut zip along the highway, take an exit, and then almost be right by their hotel. They found it convenient not to have to contend with a lot of local street traffic.
Though the restaurant received mixed reviews for other meals, all guests who commented seemed to love the breakfast that was served. It was described as a buffet with many options available that really set them up for the day.
Several guests mention that, while the hotel is easy to find, it is very awkward arriving by car. They couldn't drive up to the front entrance on arrival, and later found the underground parking poorly designed and difficult to use.
Though the attic rooms are not advertised as having balconies, some seem to have an outdoor area. The problem for guests was that it was impossible to get any view from this area since the walls were too high.
It's difficult to state emphatically, but there are quite a large number of return guests who, having loved the food previously, now hold it in very low esteem. To them the quality has certainly dropped compared to previous years.
