This is a great ski hotel, ideally located for the excellent skiing found in the Southern Are alps. There are now 10 lifts & over 22 slopes as well as 12 miles of long distance tracks in the forest, 6 miles of which are tended to daily surrounding the hotel. With only 40 rooms the hotel is very personal and winter sports orientated. It has no less than 4 saunas, a fitness area with Jacuzzi, play & TV room for the kids and sunbeds. (03/06 LC)Rooms are typically Scandinavian in design with warm colours and the use of oiled wood. They are all well appointed and medium in good size. Bathrooms are in good condition.A medium sized lobby greets the guest in true Alpine style.The First Hotel Trillevallen is situated in the southern Åre Alps approximately 85 km from Östersund, where the main airport, shops and administrative offices for the region are located & 15 km from Åre which is one of Sweden\'s most popular ski destinations.
