THE APARTMENT Fira Tourist House Duplex is ideal for families and groups of friends who want a comfortable, spacious apartment to rest after a day in the city. The place is very charming, it has 3 bedrooms, one double and two singles, 2 bathrooms and a toilet, and it is very spacious and high-quality finishes, with oak floors. The building also has a lift. On the first floor, there is a toilet, living room, a comfortable six-seating sofa, TV, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious and modern, with access to a terrace of 12m2 with a table for six people. On the next floor are the bedrooms, each with natural light, air conditioning and heating. The master bedroom has a large double bed, wardrobe and a modern bathroom with tub. The other two bedrooms each have two single beds, wardrobes and a bathroom to share. The hall was used to place a workspace with a large table for computers or games for children, if they so choose. THE NEIGHBORHOOD In the 60s and 70s, Hospitalet increased its population due to immigration from other regions of Spain, but this growth did not benefit from the necessary conditioning, a fact that led to mobilization of citizens. It was not until the 80s when the city began to change, when schools, sports centers, markets, cultural centers and parks were build. Having met these objectives, in the late 90s Hospitalet initiates a second transformation, modernizing the municipality to become a weight within the metropolitan area of Barcelona; in the first decade of XXI century it undertakes large development projects such as the undergrounding of the Gran Via as it passes through the city or the creation of the Plaza de Europa, icon of its Economic District with buildings designed by the current most prestigious architects, sports centers, markets, cultural centers and parks. Fira Tourist House is located in a quiet residential area of L'Hospitalet. It is five minutes’ walk from one of the best shopping centers in Barcelona, Granvía 2 and ten minutes from the Fira de Barcelona. By public transport you can reach Plaza España in 10 minutes and downtown Barcelona in 20 minutes. Public Transport Opposite the mall you will find a bus stop with eight bus lines, most of which get to Plaza Catalunya in less than ten minutes. You can also take the railways of the Generalitat (station Ildefons Cerda), two stations from Plaza España.
