Everyone is very friendly here and if you strike it lucky, your room has beautiful views over the sea.

This is a budget hotel, so it's particularly pleasing to note the true comfort of the beds. Sweet dreams are assured.

Rhyl is a popular resort, so if you are visiting on a low budget, or maybe you are on business and just want a comfortable bed for the night, then this is the place for you. Yes, there are defects but, to compensate, take a look at the price! There are no additional transport costs as you can walk from this super location to virtually anywhere in the town.

The place smells to high heaven. Curtains are hanging off the rail, but they are so thin, the bright light from the car park opposite comes flooding in anyway. Furniture is suicidal, rather than ‘distressed' and as for sound insulation, just forget it!

Cleanliness isn't an issue here... largely because there is no evidence of it! Rooms are small. Start scouting around and there's lots of evidence of and stuff belonging to previous guests who obviously escaped. As for toilet and shower facilities, they are beyond any reasonable description!

The music from the bar is very loud and goes on till very late at night. Opting for the ‘if you can't beat them, join them' option, you may venture down for a drink, only to find that the place is completely empty. It seems that word of mouth does work in this town- but not in any positive way!
