Hotel Fanadir El Gouna (El Gouna, Egypt)

The location of the hotel in the El Gouda resort at the marina is great. You are close to many shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is a short walk away and the hotel is easy to find.

The guest rooms are lovely, they are spacious and well-decorated. The furniture, especially the beds, are very comfortable and as a whole the rooms are very functional and welcoming. You cannot hear other guests in the neighbouring rooms and hallways which allows for a peaceful stay.

You can enjoy fantastic views from your private balcony or terrace or from the hotel swimming pool and outdoor areas. The gardens and swimming pool are well-maintained. You can relax in the swimming pool at the O-Zone Bar and watch the boats and kitesurfers in the marina.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in the public areas of the hotel, this Wi-Fi is quite slow and the connection often drops. You can pay a daily fee for Wi-Fi in your room however guests have reported that this too is not fast enough. Although this was an issue for some, many enjoyed being disconnected whilst on vacation.

Some guests have reported that the reservation staff were quite unfriendly and make you feel unwelcome. The procedure was quite slow and you have to take your bags to your own room. Guest room requests were also not always met.

Guests have reported that the selection of food available at The Sail Restaurant was not up to standard. There is little variety and the food is not always very fresh.
